The Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers (PSABE) Cavite Chapter actively participated in the 34th Philippine Agricultural Engineering Week, 19th International Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) Conference & Exhibition, and the 72nd PSABE Annual National Convention. This event took place from April 24 to 28, 2023, at the SMX Convention Center in the Mall of Asia, gathering professionals, engineers, and innovators to discuss the latest advancements in agricultural and biosystems engineering.
With
the theme "Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers: Strong Leaders & Key
Innovators Towards a Sustainable Food-Secured Philippines," the event
emphasized the critical role of ABE professionals in fostering sustainable food
production and resource management. Various seminars, exhibitions, and
technical sessions provided attendees with insights into innovations and
trends, addressing global challenges in food security and agricultural systems.
PSABE
Cavite Chapter officers Engr. Nicole Satsatin, Engr. Kelvin Michael Crystal,
Engr. Mark Anthony Isureña, and Engr. Jan Jan Aguilar represented their chapter
at the event. Their participation highlighted the chapter's commitment to
leadership in agricultural engineering and dedication to advancing sustainable
practices through technological innovation and collaboration with local and
global stakeholders.
The
convention also served as a platform for sharing success stories, exchanging
knowledge, and formulating new strategies for agricultural and biosystems
engineering projects that align with the broader goals of food security and
environmental sustainability.
